1. Be yourself
- You must be 18 or older. No exceptions.
- Use recent photos that clearly show you. No photos of other people, celebrities, children on their own, or images that are not yours to share.
- Be honest about your age, location, relationship status and intentions. If you are still in a relationship, say so, and do not use LuvAgain to cheat.
- One person, one account. Do not create accounts for someone else, share accounts, or create new accounts after being banned.
- Do not impersonate anyone, including LuvAgain staff or Circle hosts.
2. Be kind and respectful
Healing can be messy, and people may be at very different stages. Be patient and generous.
- No harassment, bullying, threats, intimidation or stalking, on or off the app.
- No hate speech or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, caste, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, body type or relationship history.
- Do not shame anyone for their divorce, their children, their past or where they are in their healing.
- Respect "Not for me", unmatches and blocks. Do not try to contact someone through another account or platform after they have said no.
- Disagree respectfully. Personal attacks are never okay.
3. Consent and sexual content
- No nudity or sexually explicit content in profiles, photos, Community Groups or Circles.
- Never send sexual messages, images or voice notes to someone who has not clearly and enthusiastically asked for them. Unsolicited explicit images will result in a ban.
- Do not pressure anyone into meeting, calling, sharing photos or moving faster than they want to.
- Never screenshot, save or share one-time-view media or private messages without the other person's permission.
- Any content that sexualises minors is strictly prohibited and will be reported to the authorities.
4. In Circles
Circles are small, therapist-led group sessions. They only work if everyone feels safe enough to be open.
- What is shared in a Circle stays in the Circle. Do not repeat, post or discuss what other participants share.
- Never record, screenshot or stream a session, even for personal use.
- Respect anonymity. If someone joins without their name or camera, do not try to identify them.
- Follow the host's guidance, let others finish speaking, and keep the space supportive.
- Circles are not a place to find dates. Do not use them to pursue members romantically.
- If you are worried about your own safety or someone else's, use the in-session crisis alert. Our Trust & Safety team will be notified immediately.
5. In Community Groups
- Stay on topic, and keep the group's purpose and its members in mind.
- No spam, repeated posts, chain messages or self-promotion.
- Give advice kindly, and never present yourself as a professional unless you are one.
- Group admins and LuvAgain may remove messages or members that break these guidelines.
6. No scams or solicitation
- Never ask members for money, gifts, investments, cryptocurrency or financial information, and never send money to someone you met on LuvAgain.
- No advertising, promotion, recruitment, multi-level marketing or selling products or services.
- No sex work, escort services or paid companionship.
- Do not share links that lead to phishing, malware or other harmful sites.
Common warning signs of a romance scam include someone who avoids video calls, quickly professes strong feelings, has an emergency that requires money, or asks you to move to another messaging app. If you notice these signs, report the profile.
7. Protect everyone's privacy
- Do not share anyone's personal information, such as their full name, address, workplace, phone number or photos, without their permission.
- Do not post private conversations publicly.
- Think carefully before sharing your own personal details, especially early on.
8. Mental health and crisis
We want LuvAgain to be a supportive place, but it is not an emergency service.
- Do not encourage, glorify or give instructions for self-harm, suicide or disordered eating.
- If someone tells you they are in danger, encourage them to contact local emergency services or a crisis line, and let us know by reporting it in the app.
- Do not give medical advice or tell others to stop treatment or medication.
If you are in immediate danger, call your local emergency number (such as 911, 999 or 112) now.
9. Meeting in person
- Get to know each other in the app first. A video call is a great way to check someone is who they say they are.
- Meet in a public place, arrange your own transport, and tell a friend where you will be. Use the date check-in feature if it is available to you.
- Stay in control of your drinks and belongings, and leave if you feel uncomfortable.
- Consent can be withdrawn at any time. Respect a "no", always.
10. Nothing illegal
Do not use LuvAgain for anything illegal, including selling or promoting drugs or weapons, trafficking, violence, or sharing content you do not have the rights to. We will cooperate with law enforcement where required.
11. Reporting and enforcement
If someone makes you uncomfortable or breaks these guidelines, block and report them from their profile, your chat, a Community Group or a Circle. Reports are confidential; we will not tell the person who reported them. You can also reach our Trust & Safety team through Settings › Help Center.
Our team reviews reports and may use automated tools to help detect harmful content. Depending on how serious the issue is, we may:
- remove content or send a warning;
- limit certain features;
- temporarily suspend the account; or
- permanently ban the person from LuvAgain and prevent them from creating new accounts.
Serious violations, such as threats of violence, sexual exploitation or content involving minors, lead to an immediate ban and may be reported to the authorities. If you believe we have made a mistake with your account, you can appeal through Settings › Help Center in the app.
